When we started Thanal
we had many ideas to bring out, so that we needed a right direction. Then Mr. Bharath
from Calicut who is an experienced guy with a residential association at
Pokkunnu near Guruvayoorappan College Calicut
introduced before us and explained that how to run an association well
and the real benefits of it.
Activities we have taken place:
1.
After preparing the bylaw we got
registered every family.
2.
We made an emblem of Thanal that tells the house numbers and fixed on every house.
3.
Decided to collect Rs.50 as donation
from every family. First and second installments are over now.
4.
Came together to complete the road work
towards Parekkuth houses near to Chantholli junction, it is about to finish
now.
5.
For rectifying the scarcity of water,
took the measure as finding a land for bore well. We found an apt place and
applied for the government aid in this regard.
6.
Another venture was of a Vijnhan
Vadi come community hall. Found the land for that and showed the
authorities those who are in concern.
